3 Ways To Persevere In Your Ministry

Ministry is a journey that many people associate with being a life-long commitment to God and the church.  Even so, just because it revolves around Christianity doesn’t mean there won’t be difficult times.  On church websites, it concludes that there may come a season when everything seems to go wrong.  You might feel like giving up and walking away from your church; however, those who persevere gain what God has promised them.

Keep God In Mind
God knows those who believe in him and he has a plan for their life.  He’s always willing to give them the strength, wisdom, and peace of mind they need.  It’s just a matter of keeping your faith in God and remaining genuine in your relationship with him.

It says in Romans 8:28, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”  As long as you remember this, it will be easier to resist temptation and carry on in your ministry.

Maintain Your Motivation
Despite what you may have heard, it is challenging to stay motivated in ministry work, even when the church flourishes.  Some church websites go into detail about the trials and tribulations that pastors have to endure.  Nonetheless, pastors can stay motivated by remembering they serve Jesus Christ and he desires all the people he has saved.

Never Lose Focus On The Goal
As with any other career, if you are worshiping God and following your calling as a minister, you must keep your eyes on the goal.  The goal is to persevere in your ministry no matter what.  That means having a strong faith in God, even though the hard times may seem like they will never end.  In some situations, it requires you to go above and beyond what you had in mind, just know that your sacrifices will be worth it one day.
